Looking Good on Paper
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010
My name is Eugene and I like designing pages that people like to read. If you need help putting together a print publication such as a magazine, newsletter or report, I’m sure I can help you. With over 1,500 pages of layout experience, I’m pretty good at making the right decisions. My experience and work-flow system means editors can save up to 50% of their production time as compared to less specialized designers.
Take a look at my portfolio of print publications and learn why clients love working with me.
Some of my happy clients include:
Brigham and Women’s Hospital
St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center
National Association of State Controlled Substance Authorities
North Shore Medical Center
As a professional photographer I am frequently at the mercy of the graphic designer to insure the quality of the final product. Eugene has always created incredible work that made my photos looked their best. He is a great partner to work with on any project.

You totally captured the importance of nursing at BWH that is “nurses with their patients.” Thank you so much for your expertise. We are so proud of what you created for the Department of Nursing.

I wanted to pass on my thanks for a truly wonderful year end issue of the Bulletin. I was very impressed by this issue. Thanks for all you do.

With limited direction he is able to execute stunning visuals in the first draft. He possesses an uncanny ability to find exactly the aesthetic I wish to create. Both flexible and humble, he is willing to tweak the design until it is just right.

Editing has never been easier with InCopy
Instead of working with PDF files, the editor receives an InCopy file. Working with InCopy is like opening up an PDF file and being able to make changes to the text. Once the editor is finished with the edits, the InCopy file is sent back to the designer, who merges it with the InDesign file and continues making changes to the layout. InCopy can also create PDFs. InCopy is a publishing industry standard tool that lets you only do one thing: edit quickly
